Great place to spend the weekend with a group of friends. Beautiful area and close to National Forests.

Our family of 6 had plenty of room, inside and out. The location was beautiful and within great proximity to what we wanted to do, hiking & fly fishing. We had fun with the quirky touches in the house and would love to return again and spend more time in the area.

This is an eclectic place which had everything we needed as a home base between hitting the trails. The decoration is tastefully entertaining. It was quiet and there were a couple of nicely mowed areas to throw frisbee with our dog. We took a walk during a rain shower and saw five or six different mushrooms along the way.. It would be a good camp for team cycling training. Host answered all questions promptly and offered places to visit.

This place is very refreshing, and lots of close water activities, owner was very helpful and easy to book with. Would definitely go back.

We had a fantastic time!! The place is so fun and stocked well with kitchen stuff needed to cook. We enjoyed hiking and exploring and fishing. Scott was wonderful and answered all of our questions and right away. He was a great host! I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a nice clean fun place to stay!

Cozy cabin with a perfect location for hiking and other mountain activities. The owner was very helpful and carrying. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we hope to be back in the near future.

Booked a last minute family trip here and the place was great. Scott was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was fantastic. It is close to both Brevard (great breweries/restaurants) and tons of hiking trails & waterfalls. Scott went out of his way to give us hiking recommendations and answer any questions we had. Amazing outdoor hangout area with fire pit and gas heaters. Definitely would recommend this place.

We had a great time at this rental, very convenient to all kinds of outdoor activities like hiking, rafting, and mountain biking. It’s in a secluded location, very private, and lots of nice areas outdoors to sit and hangout (back porch has view of mountains, front porch has outdoor heaters for when it’s cold, and awesome fire pit area near the edge of yard). Tons of beds so plenty of space for a large group. The house itself is very cool, very unique decor and furnishings- all kinds of surprises everywhere you look (e.g. fake wasp nest hanging in master bedroom!) The master bed was really comfortable (a memory foam type mattress). We would totally stay here again. 😃

We haven’t spent that much time together in years. We hiked, visited several waterfalls in the area. We went kayaking for the first time ever and did a lot of resting in this tranquil sanitarium!! We lived our stay, thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great property for large group of any type – our fly fishing group used it as a “base camp” to fan out to the water and chase the local trout. Really enjoyed the fire pit outside the front door and the generous amount of sleeping options. A great spot and very economical for large groups.

My family and I enjoyed the beautiful setting of this location. It is near hiking, biking, and waterfall destinations. The owner, Scott, provided us with detailed information about local places we should check out based on our interests. The house has a well-stocked kitchen and everyone enjoyed nightly campfires right outside the front door as well as playing board games on the back porch with a view of the mountains.
